Re: Uckinghall Pool

Hi Tony,
All pegs at Uckinghall are acessable but we are starting to have weed growth along the car park side.
I have meet a couple of anglers who fish for the Bream with Pellet feeder and have done well,
Pole anglers fish off the new causeway with maggot corn etc for the silvers,
We have cut back the walkway on the Riverside of the pool and it is easy walk with kit etc.
I fished it Tuesday for Pike and had two for 14 1/2 lb each (no not the same one)
Mythe pool fished hard at the weekend but that pool has been producing good weights in contests so if you catch it on the right day you will bag up.

Re: Aggressive behaviour at Stubbs

Well said SelfieFish,
If you after Pike, then try Stubbs Pool I have spotted two in the margins but am sure there are more than just the two in there.
We may be targeting them this winter ( the weather keeps the local population in there encampment)

Re: Aggressive behaviour at Stubbs

Most Police operations are now Intelligence lead so the more reports the Police get then they are obligated to attend or at least investigate.
Therefore it is most important that we all report antisocial behaviour or criminal activity on the River bank.
I have also had issues at Stubbs Pool I did dial 101 to report it.

12 Months ago Evesham & District Angling Association did have a situation with Eastern Europeans drinking and antisocial behaviour on the river bank in the centre of Evesham which was for Disabled Anglers Only.
When we complained to the Police they said that they had not had any reports.
We made sure the Police were informed on a regular basis, it took a bit of time but it is now sorted, the area has now been made a "No Drinking Zone" and they have moved on.
So Dial 101 and report it.

Junior Angling.

What's the thought regarding the state of Junior Angling at present.
We have just had the 2015 Junior & Intermediate Nationals and there was only 6 Intermediate teams of 6 & 12 Junior teams of 6.
Is it the Computer generation who just sit and ply computer games or parents not taking kids out.

Re: Bredon Bream

If you are after Bream I suggest you try pegs 16, 17. In the second meadow.
Fish just over half way using ground bait feeder alternate red maggot and worm in the feeder also on the hook, alternate until they come on.
I must say that I have had better results with maggot this year and found the worm not yet performing but make sure you take some, also a few casters just to try.
There is Pandock growth in this area and water level is low so make sure you have a long Landing net and good long keep net if you intend to retain you fish.
Hope you have a good day.
