Ticket, Hampton Loade, LB

Anyone else get a ticket from National Trust for using the carpark at Hampton Loade, left bank?

I fished there the other day and was under the impression it is the BAA carpark labelled in the book and we didn't have to pay? I left my BAA booklet in my car window and proceeded up the river. When I returned I had a ticket from Dudmarston Hall and National Trust left on my wiper blades... ???

I took a photograph of the number on the gate and ticket machine and returned home. I gave them a call and informed them I was a BAA member and assumed it was the BAA carpark and I have never had a issue before when leaving my BAA booklet in the window. They informed me I should have scanned my membership on the ticket machine, or get a national trust membership card? I said, but if it free parking for BAA why do I need a national trust membership? The response was a bit mumbled, but to prevent this in future is what I could make out. Apparently, I'm not going to get fined. I guess I'll have to keep you all informed...

Is this normal for this carpark?

Upper Arley Session

I've not posted in a while, due to mainly doing a lot more Pike fishing than any other type.

Bostin Angling went and had a session in Upper Arley.

We went with lure rods and dead bait gear and the dead baits actually produced this time. I bank a very impressive 16lb Pike, while Nath had a very nice looking jack up to around 4lb.
video YouTube Here

Rich took Barbel gear and have a very nice run, but sadly lost a hook at the knot awkward

Melv and Mark had day out at the river smiling

Bostin Canal Session

Not posted anything for little while.
Me and Nath of Bostin Angling went out on a BAA stretch of the canal for Pike. We had 3 out and missed a couple.

Mine was 4lb 12oz, but I missed one that was 6+ at a guess.
Nath had two, the one we weighed was4lb 2oz and Pic 2.

We got plenty of footage from this session for our YouTube channel, here, with the video being 8 mins long. Some very nice slow motions included.

Feel free to follow us on the various social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. We appreciated the support and knowledge that people can pass onto us.

Re: A Monster Perch over Six Pounds caught from River Severn at Retreat Farm

Looks around 3 to 4lb to me. I bet that net is a kg, wet, easy. It still and impressive Perch without doubt.

Re: Bostin at Nordley

If Pike are your quarry then you will fill your nets all along the BAA Waters on the Avon!

Thanks for the heads up, we not ventured that far from our area yet, due to the ongoing climate. We want to head to Avon, Teme and a couple of canal stretches further a field at some point. I have an itch to try Bala lake out, but everything is on hold.

We fish for all sorts, between the four of us (Me, Melv, Nath and Rich) involved with the blog vlog Bostin Angling. We do try to target fish, which is behind the idea of the open and end frames in our YouTube videos. A lot of our early published fishing was Pike, due to mainly the group starting the social media thing in Pike seasons, so our logo and early video frames is purely circumstance to that. That is, if you checked us out and noticed
