Re: Yardley ex service Pershore R/B

Which field can you drive across because it doesn't mention it on the map?
Is there now access to Pershore R/B?

BAA Match Results

With the amount of matches that take place on BAA waters every week, it is a shame that we don't hear about more results.
Is there any way that the BAA could e-mail the club secretary after each match to ask for results and a brief description of what has been caught and from where?
Some clubs do post this information and I find it very useful but it is very few considering the amount of matches going on.

Re: River Levels

I have had this day booked off for months so I am going to have to give it a whirl somewhere......not confident though. Think I'll be heading for the deeper water somewhere in the hope it can handle it a bit more. Supposed to be fishing the Trent on Sunday but I'll probably be able to do that from my front room at this rate sad

River Levels

Obviously I've looked at the website but has anybody seen the rivers first hand in the last day or two? How are they looking? Is anybody going to try their hand tomorrow?

Re: Declining junior angling

I agree that if kids do want to go out then they will always prefer to bash a carp puddle but I think the biggest problem is getting them out at all. Whether it's because of Playstation or Facebook or whatever it just seems to me that kids don't want to go outside anymore. I like opposite some football and when I was a kid I would of been on them constantly.....we never needed an excuse to go out kick a ball or whatever. I never see anybody over there, so I don't think it is just fishing....I think it's outdoors in general. If hanging around by the shops and smoking fags was an olympic sport though I reckon our kids would take some beating.
