Re: COPPICE, NOISY MORONS SUNDAY.

Here, Here. We were there from Friday through til Sunday, and Sunday was the worst day by far for noise.... But that's the circus that is Coppice, as you say, roll on the rivers. smiling

Re: Bailiffing

Totally agree with all your points, But don't understand the common sense bit.
I think the word fish means fish, It says nothing about being off the water by one hour after sunset and if this is the case, then the rules need a re write to make it clearer.

C.2 Night Fishing

No member shall:

(a) fish the Association's waters at any time other than between one hour before sunrise and one hour after sunset, unless they are in possession of a valid permit to night fish and subject to the terms and conditions contained therein.

Re: Bailiffing

You can fish 1 hour after sunset, Check the times before you set off and then you know when you have to be off the water by.... Quite clearly states No Night Fishing at Severn Stoke, If you wish to fish into the night, then go to one of the venues that allow it and buy a permit like the rest of us, At every venue we night fish (with permits) we see fellow anglers taking the piss, either staying well into the night or turning up at gone midnight and fishing through till morning. And 90% of them are not EE, but members of our club, fishing without said permits. I would like to see more Bailiffs patrolling at night to stop this as it reflects badly on all members, and not just those breaking the rules.

Re: The Severn is cold and Brown

We fished overnight on the Severn on Sat, It was stained colour when we arrived from all the rain. The air temp dropped with the clear skies overnight and the cold mist rolled in. It fished well all night, but come the morning it was much harder and the bites were few and far between, but saying that I still managed another 4 during the day.
