Re: Hard Hat needed to fish on this canal

Reg, as far as I know that car hanging over the canal bridge is at Dimmingsdale on the Sankey waters, there is a bend before crossing the bridge, but looks like the driver took it at speed.

Halesowen RBL match fished at Hinksford 16 / 04 /23 ( Boats Section )

This normally prolific venue failed to live up to it's usual standard of weights, lots struggled to get bites, most weights were made up of bream, perch and the odd chub, roach were noticeable by their absence again.

1st Phil Cooper 5 - 8 - 0

2nd Sean Waite 4 - 6 - 8

3rd Howard Dodd 4 - 1 -0

4th Garry Mason 2 - 9 - 0

5th Andy Sloan 2 - 1 - 0

Halesowen RBL club match fished on the Warks Avon at Pershore 11/ 12 / 22

Well, this match proved a real struggle for the few that bothered to fish. For whatever reason this usually prolific venue fished awful. With it snowing throughout the match and fishing a clear river we still didn't expect this result as only two members caught fish. At least there were no paddle boarders and canoes.

1st Sean Waite 1 - 11 - 0 ( Sean had a chub and a perch on stick float with maggot )

2nd Steve Horton 1 - 5 - 0 ( Steve had some late roach on the link with maggot )

So a disappointing end to the clubs match calendar for 2022
