Re: Website

Hi Folks,
We are aware of the issue and unfortunately it cannot be resolved easily with our current site. If you keep re-loading the page you want, it will eventually come on, however we know that the site is slow and this is entirely due to it being a little outdated.
We are committed to producing a new web site over the coming months, and all we can do for now is to ask members to be patient.

Re: Overgrown Stretches

Reg,
You have been asked not to contact our Fisheries Officer directly. He has more than enough to cope with as it is and he doesn't need you suggesting that members contact him.
The way to report any fisheries issues is by calling the BAA office on 01562 882116.
Thank you

Re: b.a.a. match fishing rules ?

There are no rules beyond what are included in the bye-laws. None of the rules you mention are applicable to BAA fisheries.

KHV

Outbreaks of Koi Herpes Virus (KHV) have been discovered recently, in fisheries heavily populated with carp. This disease is fatal in carp and very easily transmitted between fisheries unless strict precautions are taken.
One of the easiest and most effective ways to prevent transfer, is to ensure all keepnets and landing nets are thoroughly dried out after each fishing session, as the virus cannot survive in a dry environment.
If every member carries out this simple requirement, then our fisheries will be safe.
Please spread the word.
