Re: How about a Tackle-tip section?

gb123, you are correct in saying tackle-tips can be posted already but the downside is, as they go off page one they disappear and get 'lost' never to be seen again.
In a dedicated Tackle-tips section it would be easy to go down the headings to look for something which may interest you, even if there were several pages of tips.
As for what is posted on YouTube, it is irrelevant to this forum.

The hijacking of a simple question by Mr Care and Fishychris to forward their own agendas, is disrespectful.
If you have an ''axe-to-grind'' about something different from what is listed, start your own posts!

How about a Tackle-tip section?

I think it might be a good thing to have a tackle-tip section whereby useful tips are passed on to interested members by other members.

Re: Fladbury below bridge

You would not recognize the place, (Bidford R/B).
I walked down the meadow last year and found that the shingle beach (the flier) was no longer there.
I would say it had been washed away by the big floods.
Of course another flood could could drop a load of shingle back in the same place.
Looked like the island was no longer fished.
I fished the peg next to the top fence and had a lot of small fish on float fished tare.
Had several chub and one suspected barbel on, but is was so weedy I never got a single one to the net.

Re: a decent day on the jig heads on the cut

The Canal and River Trust have the ultimate power, even above an actual law.

If a club or association are not following their rules and they the ''take-the-hump'', they can simply refuse to renew any lease held by that club or association.

Or worse, cancel a currant lease.

I am sure we would all want that - yeah right.

Re: a decent day on the jig heads on the cut

There is no-way the BBA rules can be above the rules of governing body or any environmental laws.

To be legal and above board, the BAA should rescind the present zander rule.

It is no different to a club or member flouting the BAA rules and expecting to ''get away with it''.

It would not be allowed and they would be hauled up in front of the committee.

If I were caught by a Canal and river Trust bailiff returning any non-native species, I would expect to receive and accept some form of punishment.

Flouting rules you don't agree with is not the way we should do things.
