Bream Lower Ladyham or Pensham

After advice please. Fancy a bit of feeder fishing for bream / silvers on either lower Severn or Avon. Believe that Ladyham below Stourport has some potential and have read various posts about Pensham below Pershore as possibilities. Not after specific swims as I know bream shoals come and go, but after info on these two venues or any others that might lend themselves to having a go at some bream / silvers on feeder.

Re: baa d'anglers a.c nordley match.

Hi Keith - Mick Grove, I fished the Wolverley match. Cannot do the date for the Nordley one, but count me in for the ones scheduled for Autumn. Regards to the lads I met last time.

Re: b.a.a. club affiliation

Hi CF - I would be interested in joining this group to fish a few matches a year - a nice contrast to my usual way of fishing. Mick Grove. Thanks again for organising last Saturday.

Re: match day on the staffs/worc

Thanks again for organising - great day and good to put some names to faces. Trying to put a positive spin on things, told my wife, family and friends that I had managed a top ten finish (just) in a major fishing comp attracting some of the greatest talents from all over the Midlands. Sounds better than 3 poxy fish for 4oz and a near last place.

Re: Postponed Issac Walton Plate Contest

Having pleasure fished for most of my 65 years, and having never fished in a match before, I am getting quite excited about this Saturday - something very different for me. I have spent the last two days trying to attach a string of number 10 shot to a rig. Given up now and am opting for a heavier set up, probably involving some swan shot. Bait preparation tomorrow and those Wolverley fish can expect a smorgasbord of maggots, pinkies, casters, worms and bread. And sweetcorn. Just in case. I have dug out a second keep net in anticipation - I assume there will be a 50lb limit on what can be kept in one net? Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday. You will recognise me - I will be the old bloke with two keep nets.
