BornoeRe: Fisheries workI c re-found a peg on The Avon on Friday. The veg was head high but I’d taken a slasher and after 10 minutes I could see the river. It was great fun and quite therapeutic! I’ve now left a swim that I hope others will enjoy. If those that are able just did one swim before they fish I’m sure it would help. There was no need to get into any danger. I was rewarded with a lovely 5lb Bream. So nice to be back out there!

Re: No Pegs, Pensham and NaffordIs it acceptable to take a tool to clear some undergrowth & use a spade if necessary to clear a swim to make it fish able? No intention to make it look like a building site. Just safe & comfortable.

New WatersOnly 7 weeks until our rivers open! Starting to really miss it now. Are the club looking to acquire any new waters? Is there any other changes to keep us interested?

OttersFished Pensham today, pair of otters quite blatantly working the river. Not fazed by anglers. I blanked.
