Re: Beginning & EndIt was 14. What I would say, it was quite noticeable that some of the Barbel I caught weighed significantly less than I estimated before weighing. Could this be to do with the time of year with some fish yet to put on weight prior to the winter? I would agree that the fish in the photo doesn’t look huge but it did have a belly!

Re: Beginning & EndJust knew that sort of comment would arrive. Not really troubled about weights but can assure you it was witnessed and weighed with digital scales that had been checked against manual scales.

Beginning & EndGreat week staying at Highley. River well up but started with an 11lb Barbel on meat. Several Barbel averaging 7lb throughout the week. Last fish was a pb at 14lb!
