Re: The wye

I agree , but that's if the otters not eaten them , nothing safe from there grasp . I fore see a decline in river fishing in general we are only just seeing the start of damage otters have done , an it will only get worse , a lot worse in forecoming years ??

Re: Underdale fishery just asking at the moment about a fish in ?

OH dear another aggressive baliff ,who does not no meaning of consrtructive critisim .
from my experience lot baliffs iv come across either don't work or are retired , hence have idle time on hands .
hence they have to medle with things .
so if your for all anglers I take it you will be trying to put forward extending the hours of fishing into darkness ? if only by an hour .
long may contests an keepnets be a thing of the past .

out of curiousity dale , what type of fishing do you do ? match or specimen barbel etc ?
I take it in these matches barbel will be handled correctly on unhooking mats , rested well upon capture and upon there return for up to 5 minutes for them to recover an be upright in the flow , an swim away strongly without the use of keepnets .
.
