Re: Shrewsbury BAA fishery i:e Underdale why do you want to high light this fishery to all , neglected stretches are were fish thrive , an should be kept on the quiet to anglers that fish there . do you really need the baa to come down with bulldozers !!!! so to speak . there are pegs there , an if an individual angler or 2 wants to cut a peg then that is all that is required . why is it some have to be busy bodys . may be some have nothing better to do . Re: What a cracker well done nice fish , but do you really have name waters , an putted added pressure on the fish when crowds descend ? maybe you be first to complain when you cant get a peg . so mums the word , by all means if you want to publish pictures keep the location to yourself . Re: BAA has given up walcot lake pearl lake at shobdon not far from you but might have book caravan , used be excellent tench water fish to 11 plus , or might be able book tent on camping pitch . not been few years did have influx carp so not sure about now . also westwood park used be good in 80s until closed might be worth enqury? baliff used be pete , who lived in shed in the woods . Melbourne lake derbys , switherland res leics , but never seen any were so special as walcot an don't think ever will again . oh did fish private pool outside welshpool early 80 s which was 2nd to walcot around 7 acres in size on private estate , but holiday makers an caravaners put stop that , due to litter was all done on trust , just had put 2 quid in post box by his house on estate . was all abused the lake never been fished since around 1984. now that was special also all species in there pike , bream , roach ,perch an handful carp .
