Re: Arley right hand bank - parking I posted the original Arley R/B parking comment, plenty of views not one reply or "official" response from BAA. Just what is the official use of that car park as on most week ends the "owners" are there with their hands out for parking fees, i went last season whilst there was a match on the Arley R/B stretch and the woman with a man insisted that i pay BAA member or not, i was intending to fish up stream. I didn't appreciate the way the conversation was going so went elsewhere ! By putting a gate and padlock on would restrict village visitors from R/B parking and the "owners" of some form of income ! IF it is our car park then surely we can move the obstruction, but again without an official comment we are all still in the dark. oh and tight lines everyone. Posted on July 12, 2020 at 3:47 PM
Arley Harbour inn R/B parking ! ! Hi can anyone help with information regarding above. Went on tuesday and the car park we as BAA members use was closed off by a large mound of earth, and everyone and their dog and boat were there with cars abandoned all over the place. Yellow lines what yellow lines even the police turned up and took no notice of the chaos. So, can anyone shed any light on when and if this car park will open up again and have the BAA been advised or can they contact the owners of said car park to find out. Re: Retreat Farm Tench? Fished pool 2 a couple of times last season and like everyone else seem to experience, blanked. Spoke to a few guys on pool 1 who all said that they do not know anyone to have a bite on it.
