Lost at Arley HarbourMy plastic float tube fell out of my bag on Monday last 24th june whilst walking back to my car, which contained all my river floats. I was fishing just inside the second meadow where my car was parked. Willing to treat anyone to a drink if found, cheers all.

Re: Retreat farm pools open!Fished pool 2 yesterday weds 23rd with one other angler, neither of us had a bite. Went on to pool 1 and the topic was "how did you get on on 2 ? " The word is no one has heard of anyone getting a touch on there although plenty seem to try. pool 1 fished well especially as close in to the side reeds as possible. The carp are spawning vigorously so they might be distracted somewhat for a week or two, saw plenty of waterfowl scared by all the activity and got splashed as they crashed through my swim, ideal rural setting.

Newhalls meadowFished on Monday very enjoyable day trotting for silvers, Plenty of Roach to 8oz , which took the fancy of a 6 /12 Pike . Wouldn't win many matches but this forum needs using and not just for specimen fish so come on lads and lassies let us know how you do when fishing our waters.
