Re: Annual renewalsHow easy would it be for some one to turn up with out a day ticket and taking a gamble knowing that if the bailiff dont turn up Then they get away with fishing for free ? That already happens without day tickets, at places like Severn Stoke. I've seen it happen. There are plenty of ungated venues for non-members to poach, and they do. My personal bugbear is no night ticket. At places we are allowed to night fish of course. The BAA ticket is ridiculously cheap (too cheap IMO), yet to fish a night costs a quarter of that cost, at 10 quid a pop. If a night ticket were offered, at say, 60 or 70 quid, I'd be the first angler in the queue.

Re: Fladbury - Worst result in living memoryYou won't hear anything from the EA, as they simply don't care, and are responsible for the problems anyway. There are fish to be had after dark, the chub are at it once the light goes, and a friend of mine managed two doubles (barbel) there last night.

Re: The AvonJohn was that weight Chub or Bream?I only managed 3lb there the week before.It was dropping to normal level but still holding a bit of colour.Our match was patchy,16lb of Chub won it below the boat yard Stu, it was barbel!!
