Re: BAA SELLING A FISHERY!Not that it is that important to me personally but it seems a bit odd the BAA has had a fishery, now up for sale, that is not shown in their list of available waters. Confused.?

Re: Junior Angling.Think you are right there Bob, rarely do you see youngsters on a river or canal, certainly in my area. Transport could be a problem for them, and you don't see many dads and lads out. Not knocking carp fishing, I have done a lot of it and still do some, but you have to say it can be like watching paint dry and there is comparatively little skill to it, I now always have one float rod out if fishing two rods to keep me awake, and give me a river or canal any day.

Re damaged mouths commentsI cannot see how a barbless hook can cause more damage than a barbed hook, if a barbless is not set firmly and slips out, it will surely just slip out. If a barbed hook comes out it is logic that the barb may catch and tear the fish in some way.

Re: Place to go.Chubster, didn't do Fladbury on Wednesday, went to Parks Farm [ Evesham by pass ]. River looked good but just a few small perch and a couple of small roach caught. Had a rod out for pike and had just one take, looked about 7 to 8lb but lost it near the bank. All in all very quiet really, perhaps I should have gone to Fladbury..
