get up around Arley area or hampton loade. river still moving but few out fishing today.
the banks are bloody slippy thou so take great care.
if you know the pegs well go to the gravel ones,
as thin film of very slippy mud on the pegs.

if you walked a mile or so you would have gone under the railway bridge and onto lovely flat banks with super short grass and lots of sheep in fields.
first and second field for hay hence long grass, but first not BAA.
people dont / wont walk that far to the pegs now a days so i dont blame the work party for not bothering
its still a top bit of river for huge bream and tench. good carp too but they bloody hard to find.
still for the best 40 quid a year you could ever spend.
we cant complain smiling

it looked spot on..... but we didn't have a sniff. fished one rod meat and other pellet
two lads up river didnt catch . and few up near weir the same. odd chub etc.
but river dropping nice so can only get better smiling

also look at the web cams . farson digital watercams.
pure goldmine they are. updated every 5 seconds
i watch them daliy and always before set off.
and use with shoothill river levels you will soon work out best times before and after floods etc.
