Blue Ball AC match Sunday 6th March Match was booked for the River Avon at Eckington, but as the river had about 2/3m of extra water and was rising, it was decided to move the match to the Staffs-Worcester canal by the Navigation Pub. 1st Stuart Whittall 4lb 15oz of roach 2nd Brian Marsh 2lb 7oz of gudgeon 3rd Paul Mason 1lb 4oz 4th Glyn Price Hunt 1lb 3oz Cold but dry day. 2 dry nets. Declining junior angling In contrast to our other types of annual membership which are currently showing a healthy uptake, junior membership has been in decline for a number of years. I believe the fall in the number of junior members is also impacting other clubs and EA rod license sales. This is an issue for angling in general as older members who cease fishing are not being replaced by young anglers. What are your ideas on how we can tackle this looming problem?
