Evesham AC match reports x 2

Match report.
29th July 2017.
Evesham Youth A/C fished below the bridge at Fladbury on Saturday and Junior Callum Jennings Won the Junior section with a big old black Avon bream.
See photo.
Spud Taylor won the Senior section with a big bream and an eel with bits for 6lb. 3oz. caught on the pole.

Junior section.
1st Callum Jennings. 6lb. 12 oz.
2nd Joe Cook. 2lb. 6 oz.
3rd Harry Lewis. 1lb. 5oz

Senior Section.
1st Spud Taylor. 6lb. 3oz.
2nd Glenn Robinson. 4lb 9oz.
3rd Darryl Aylett. 4lb.1oz.

1st - Stewart Whittall 4lb
2nd - John Dalloway 2lb 8oz

Not much caught as cold night before.

Re: New Licence

On the EA/rod licence website (link below) they show pictures of the new 2 & 3 rod licences, so I believe they will still issue a credit card sized licence as before. I renewed mine on-line about 10 days ago and still have not received the licence, so will have to take a copy of the confirmation email print out plus ID when fishing until it arrives. I guess the delay is due to the EA now doing the licence renewals rather that the Post Office as in previous years and their new on-line system having a few teething problems. If it does not arrive soon I will be on the phone having a moan at them.

1st - Glyn Price-Hunt 2lb 4oz
2nd - Edwin Southall 1lb 11oz
3rd - Stewart Whittall 1lb 10oz
4th - Brian Marsh 10oz

Mainly small perch and roach.

Match moved from Ripple due to River Severn being in flood.

Re: Fish passes

The money is an EU grant specifically to help restore shad populations, so it would not be available for other purposes. Also I guess there is a motivation to spend it before we leave the EU.
