Hello chaps just a quick heads up ... fished a match at Arley R/B yesterday and although the B.A.A booklet says the parking is free to members this was not the case .. i personally didn't have to pay as i was driving on this occasion. but a lady came along and asked everyone to supply there registration number & insisted that the farmer said everyone with a car or van should pay £ 2 pounds ..
i know its only £2 & not the end of the world , but just letting you know.

Re: arley right bank parking

I've never had an issue in 10+ times of parking in the proper carpark.

I've only seen BAA members get charged if they continue on through and out the far end of the carpark into the big field.

I sometimes drive into the field to drop my stuff and return the car back to the car park without charge.

Re: arley right bank parking

that's a very good point and also my first thoughts...& the short answer to the question is both,, we were in the field and like i said i had a lift that day so it didn't apply to me.
however my lad came along to me and said : don't pay the lady dad iv already sorted it : my first thoughts were that its because were in the field , which to be fair for 2 blokes to avoid carrying your gear across the field is a real bargain.. It wasnt till later when it got brought up in conversation with some other blokes (not in our club ) but they said they had to pay aswell and they were in the main car park..2 cars ..1 of witch was displaying a BAA sticker....

like iv said im not bothered about 2 quid......cheap as chips i think .
i only mentiond it to let you know incase the new rules have changed..
