Fishery strimming delay

Due to the following reasons the strimming of our fisheries is running late this year.

• The Lock Down on angling delayed the Fisheries team starting strimming.
• We have one Fisheries Team this year, in previous years we had two, this has reduced the rate at which venues can be strimmed.

So please keep an eye on the Fisheries Work Plan published on the website which provides an up to date list of venues which have been strimmed and the dates for those to be strimmed in the following weeks.

Also have a bank stick or similar handy when fishing, so that you can knock down the vegetation at venues yet to be strimmed.
