Hello Fellow d’anglers,
The Blue Screen prevented me from posting last night, but here is a summary of yesterday’s event.

What a pleasant day we had with the perfect weather spent in the company of a nice bunch of like minded blokes that enjoy the pleasure of d’angling, that Carlingford Keith would no doubt have enjoyed. Cheers to you Keith!

Now then, let me say thank you for turning out and giving it your best shot on what transpired to be a very “Tough Nut of a venue to crack”!
What was really surprising was the complete absence of ANY Skimmers or Bream, very strange?

I have posted the results in the Match Fishing Forum.
However
Between us 14 d’anglers that competed there were only two that did not weigh.
The total weight caught was 9lb 5oz 12dr

The First 4 comprised of
1) Raver 1lb 12oz 8dr; 2) Paul 1lb 7oz 8dr; 3) bin 1lb 2oz; 4) Bob 1lb 1oz

bin, I am in awe of the number of fish that you caught, over 50 of them on Punched Bread, a magnificent achievement, that got you into 3rd place.

Thank you to the Peggers and Weighers for your help yesterday, it was very much appreciated.

Now then based on the first 3 Contests I have worked out an aggregate for the TEN d’anglers that have Fished ALL THREE Contests.
1) bin = 2
2) Raver = 2.66
3) = Bob Powell and Charlie Bigchub = 4.33
5) Robhol = 4.66
6) = mrfishy and Paul Wedgbury 7.33
8) mrfishy senior = 8.33
9) Reg = 11.66
10) Stew1955 = 12

The Annual Trophy for the Aggregate Winner will be the Issac Walton Plate, that Stew1955 is the current holder of!

Our remaining two contests are as follows:

Saturday 28th October - S-W Canal between Bridges 37-38 suggested parking at the Hinksford Arms Pub - Postcode DY6 0BA

B-W Canal Stoke Works between Bridges 41-42
Parking on Shaw Lane / Westonhall Road - Postcode B60 4EQ
