I believe it is Northwood Lane, by the old bridge , and EA monitoring station, rt bank downstream.

It is indeed Northwood Lane, the fishery car park is immediately left after going under the old railway bridge. It's about a 150yd walk from the car park to the river, gets very muddy and boggy across the field in winter, and it's on the left/east bank of the river.

You should know John, and if anyone needs to see what a Barbel looks like check out Mr Cares early season video of a session at Northwood. Available on the you tube thingy.awkward

Just fished there once on a very hot August Bank Holiday, and managed a 9lb Barbel, keep promising to go back.

Time for some new productions John!

I like Northwood, there's some good fish there, the stamp of barbel is bigger than average compared to the rest of the Middle Severn, can be rock hard though, and often a waste of time in low water summer levels.
