Theres bin a 17lb 4oz caught off the Severn....sounds like a cracking fish!!

The guy who caught it is not claiming it as a record ?It turns out the guy who caught it had a witness to its capture . Its a well known fish and has been caught a few times in the past . No doubt there will be questions to its true weight ? and try and dismiss it as being genuine ?

I see on face book its been caught for a second time . This time with 3 witness's ? and all the so called fish experts are dismissing it as to what the true weight of it really is .
I remember a few years ago when somebody claimed a new record fish for the Severn weighing 16 lb 11 ozs . The so called experts said what weight a fish can gain and not gain over a period of time and he proved those people wrong . It will be interesting to see if the claimant puts in a claim for a new Severn record .
