Re: Parking issues when fishing the river LuggHi Glen, Had a look round back in March 2016 on my way to the Towy in Wales. The only place I could find was a slight layby at the top end of the Dinmore stretch. The inner part was well rutted and I wouldn`t fancy it (see photo I took). Same as you,on the other stretches I could not find anywhere, best thing is to phone the pub to see if it`s OK to park there and walk back to the access.

Re: Parking issues when fishing the river LuggThanks for that - even with the slight widening of the road at that point it looks more like a passing point than a safe parking spot, so can't help thinking the BAA don't expect us to park there. As I say, instructions are quite ambiguous for Dinmore - 'P' symbol seems to be where your photo was taken but description mentions the pub which is much further up - is the path entrance opposite where your photo was taken? At least the pub is closed currently, so you wouldn't be affecting their trade, but what about later in the year when they are open again?

Re: Parking issues when fishing the river LuggIf I remember right it was more or less opposite a hole in the fence. I believe there is a proper gate there now.

Re: Parking issues when fishing the river LuggFrom Google Streetview it looks like that would obstruct the road but maybe in reality is wider than it looks on Streetview.

Re: Parking issues when fishing the river LuggOk thanks. Obviously won't be fishing for anything but brownies in the close season but good to know for the open season.
