A couple of BAA pools are stocked to near commercial fishery levels -assuming the stock hasn't all been eaten by otters.
With lockdown in full effect and nobody fishing, is anybody feeding the fish?

Re: Pools

That,s a good point Kent. What with the serious decline of insect and other natural foods the fish will be ravenous. Due to the warm weather and spawning they need sustenance as judging by the fish in my garden pond they are getting very active. I dare say the cormorants and other predators will be filling their bellies. That might well have to include those from the east of course from a couple of bailiffs videos posted recently. Let,s all hope that we can get out in a few weeks and help remedy the situation but for now stay home and stay safe.

Re: Pools

The pools are all well out of my way, so I had no intention of dropping by, but is a farmer can feed his stock, the BAA can feed it's fish.

Re: Pools

When I checked the pools just before the lockdown there was loads of frogspawn in the margins at the Retreat pools so that might keep them going for a little while.
