I totally agree, I cannot understand the mentality of some of these so called anglers. Why in heavens name would you bring beer cans, bottles etc. fishing with you. Save the beer for when you get home to celebrate your day on the bank. I went to Hampton Loade the other week and took home a bag full of rubbish that someone had thoughtfully put all the cans and bottles in a carrier bag tied the top and then left on the bank... maybe it was left in error but I doubt it.

I have seen the same at Nordley Pools, including broken chairs just tossed into the woods.

My other big bugbear is discarded line, this is a hazard to wildlife as well as being unsightly, I know sometimes a length of mono can disappear into the grass and any amount of searching cannot find it but yards of braid etc that I have taken away, I think not.
