Re: The wye383 looks but no replies !! I am no Pike Angler Peter, but I see no reason why Stacklands would not do you just fine, as you know the Wye hold some terrific Pike. Stacklands have a few croy's too that would help.

Re: The wyeI agree , but that's if the otters not eaten them , nothing safe from there grasp . I fore see a decline in river fishing in general we are only just seeing the start of damage otters have done , an it will only get worse , a lot worse in forecoming years ??

Re: The wyePlenty of pike moving last week - slacks beyond the concrete platforms looked likely spots.

Re: The wyeI believe the Wye will be fine Ian, Otter can cause havoc on smaller rivers with less density of fish stocks, I certainly hope so. Also on a positive note, some badly affected Rivers are showing some sort of recovery, eg Teme, but I reckon Gooseanders and Cormorants are sometimes the biggest threat.

Re: The wyePlenty of Pike on the beat. Couple of Otters too. I'd suggest that the track in the field is a bit damp to drive on (its been underwater) so would recommend parking outside the gate (please dont block the entrance however)
