Re: travel

I think you need to ask yourself if you really need to travel at all, we all love our fishing but after all for most of us fishing is a hobby.

The instruction is to stay local for exercise - walking distance ?

Rather than trying to “bend” the rules for self satisfaction, if everyone had struck to the rules previously we may have been closer to an end to the restrictions we are currently under.

So in response you your initial question I would suggest not.

Re: travel

Our prime minister traveled seven miles on his bike and it appears he did not break any rules.
I would use this as a guide to how far we should travel.
Then if stopped, I would point out how far he travelled and that I am governed by the same rules as he is.

Re: travel

If you must fish a river for the last weekend, why not do an explorer on the Tame?
There are some decent chub in there as well as dace and roach.
