We all have days like that Bin - is this the peg just after the boat turning bay where there is a house right next to the canal? Think I have seen duck house there. There used to be a few carp inhabiting the bay and I spotted a couple basking there this summer, so there are still a few fish around. Otters have ruined the nearby Stour - still catch a few nice chub but the dace, roach and chublets seem to have disappeared.
