Hi All,
Please may I ask what Anglers think about there safety on RIVER BANKS and not pool banks please, I am just interested in what Anglers think about there safety on RIVER BANK ?

Hi Curry,
That's just it people just like to stop anything being done to just make are sport safe, But if they go to pools they are safe and to me it's time now that river banks need the same work done on them to make them safe. Just like someone on this topic said we all have the right to fish all waters that the BAA have so us that just like to fish on rivers should stand together and just try to make are fishing as safe as we can now, because we have lost a lot of Anglers to pool fishing because the way Anglers can park behind there peg that as been made to keep them safe. So I just think us river Anglers have the same but all I have asked is to reopen this lovey water to all and that's it. Thank You for saying what you have said.

I understand all that people are saying, but I don't think that would not happen because of the parking on this fishery. But like I have said may be it's only me on this, I am a bailiff and I do try to help anglers when I see them and talk to them and all I get is that river banks are unsafe for most of anglers there's days to get down to the water. And I just think its time to do something about river banks now, because pools get all the work done on them and that's wye we river anglers are dropping. And I just think its time clubs did something to try and get members kids and any kids back into fishing on rivers like we all did when we was young, but the way river back have not been look after like they have in all the years it's time it stop. All what as been said is right but I think for the good off all not just some, all I have thinking of is the safety of all that would just like to fish rivers to be safe because we pay the same as pool anglers but it's hard to get members to think like me, and maybe try to come on some work party's and help to try and make river banks safe now instead off just saying stuff. Because not all Anglers like pool fishing so we all should just try and do are beast to make are sport safe for all and not the few and that's it and make are sport safe for all.

Ian, I am sorry you think that way but all I have asked is to make this fishery safe for who ever would like to fish on it, I have not said anything about getting Bulldozers in to the fishery. I have been a bailiff for many years and I have been on a lot off work party's that just try and make what we love to do and that is to fish in a safe way. And as for members or individual cutting or digging out pegs it is not on because it as not been right and is not aloud to be done unless they have the backing off the BAA so this is wye I have just asked just to make this lovely bit of water to be opened up again just to make all anglers safe and that it sorry you feel I have done wrong. But I just think about anglers safety sorry.
