Like everyone else I’m hoping that we are allowed out by the time June 16th arrives. As my wife and I are both key workers this coming season will be appreciated all the more.

Re: Pensham adviceOne of our matches there a couple of years back was won with Chub on the waggler,it was a low and clear river though on a sunny day so conditions weren’t ideal but there are plenty of bream down there if you can drop on a shoal of them.

Re: Pensham adviceCheers Stew. I get the impression the top end may be a bit shallower but it all looks nice.

Re: Pensham adviceI've tried it for barbel a couple of times, but never managed one, although I know they are there. It is pretty deep as you say, apart from the very top end. One time I did fish it, i managed just bream, but also a stray carp, around 8lb or so. It's a nice stretch.

Re: Pensham adviceI've fished Pensham a few times and as said it's not so deep at the top end and is probably a better bet for chub.
