Whilst fishing at Stacklands on Friday, during the day a group of youngsters in canoes (with adult supervision) came through, whilst very polite and taking care of our lines in the chosen swims, a few needed to leave their canoes for a call of nature. Along came one of the adults with the "loo rolls" several youngsters climbed the banks and a few minutes later paddled off. Now in all innocence not a problem until the owner on his regular trips to the bankside sees what I can only imagine what was left, what is going to be the first thought in his mind, "bloody Birmingham Anglers" . Well in this case "Keith" it is NOT the anglers to blame, otherwise I found no other litter at all well done all who visit keep it up.

This would explain what I found further downstream a couple of years ago.

Re: Stacklands

Thanks for posting this. I had a phone call when away on holiday in August from Keith that a Pizza box had been left on the bank, I knew it would be from a canoeist! I'll make a point of telling him about this.
