Another difficult match. Top weight was nearly 5lbs caught using chopped worm and pinkie. Second was a 3 lb bag of 52 Gudgeon caught on pinkie. Chopped worm, pinkie, bread punch and caster baits were all used to catch. (Information gleaned from participating anglers as I was not on the match, and our BAA correspondent has forgot his BAA password)

1st H Kitchen 4.14.10
2nd Mark Adams 3.0.3
3rd M Watson 2.12.1
4th N Vaughan 2.2.9
5th D Anderson 2.1.12
6th T Wills 1.14.12

Hi Swainy

A match report is a match report whether it is the outcome of a good or disappointing day's fishing. The fact that all contestants on that day and time of day had relatively disappointing results from a normally prolific venue proves that it just wasn't gonna happen while you were there.
We think that we know a lot about fishing, but a double figure net one afternoon can turn into a dry net on the same peg during the following morning, and vice versa.
Thanks for your post.

Hi Swainy,
Thank you for taking the time to post your results, and almost 17lb of fish from six of your d’anglers is a fair return in my opinion. And 52 Gudgeon in a session is more than I have caught in the past 20 years, they are becoming scarce, when once they were very prolific.

Stew1955 makes a good point in his post, at the end of the day you were on the Waterside and my sign off to that is

Keep on Fishing….
