Had a few from the canal myself. Just interested if it was above or below Tardebigge as I've never managed one between there and it meeting the river.

Indeed which is why I wasn't expecting the exact stretch. My question was similar to asking whether a fish had come from the lower or upper Severn. Both cases would leave a lot of water to choose from. The reason I asked is because there's a debate on another forum regarding pike on this canal and levels of salt from Tardebigge reservoir. I was just interested if the theories could be disproved.

Understood. It was a long way up from the reservoir. Well, I can tell you the salt isn't affecting this stretch of the canal. We have had dozens of pike in the last few weeks. Good news I guess.
