IMO both fish are similar. Neither much more than 8 and that's at a push

Both are smaller than the severn 10.11

Seen some dreadful fish care with barbel this year especially at Fladbury.

Also, minimum size landing net sizes should now be brought in as a rule. With barbel it isn't so much their weight but their length. A 8lbs barbel will be of a length of a 20lbs carp. Match style pan nets lead to them being almost bent double in the net. Unhooking mats should also be compulsory when targeting barbel

Middle Severn?

Is the mid Severn fish able this week? Been out the country for a month so have no idea what the levels or conditions are like
