Re: Float fishing the SevernI am currently in the middle of the Float Only league at Bewdley and I fish plenty of the Float Only matches later in the year. I know that this is not BAA water but just goes to show that plenty of people prefer to fish the float on the Severn. The league is a sellout with 54 entrants

Re: WickIt would be interesting to know what the truth is about this place because I went and fished yesterday and followed the BAA map and parked in the correct place. It is a decent walk especially up to the top end but then when you pack up and leave you find that other anglers have drove down to the river. Either there is access that we are not being told about, or anglers are abusing the land and using farmers tracks meaning that at some point they are going to get rathers annoyed. Could someone from the BAA please clear up if there is access highre up because there are certainly 2 tracks that come down to the river from the fields, but there is nothing to say that we can use them. I didn't ask the guys that had drove down as they didn't look the sort to interact with.

Re: my day at bolehall, on the ankerNot sure how clear it is from the picture but I went last year (September-ish) and I had 2 pike sat at the end of my keepnet all day long. They never moved until I put my fish back when they tried to pick of any that they could. Never seen it before. I even had a guy that was fishing for pike and he came along and dropshotted and lure fished right in front of them and they wouldn't move. Crazy.

Re: Yardley ex service Pershore R/BThank you. The only locked gate that is mentioned in 'where to fish' is for Pershore L/B above 'the gut'. Is there access for the R/B? I would guess that as I come out of Pershore then there is a field before you cross the river that now has access?
