Hi Robhol1 Mike here upper severn area bailiff there is no need for a machete at forden as the track has been renewed and there is good access to river . I can assure you trotting tactics used on the river produces good catches of all species from Aberbechan to Poolquay but the only exception is there are no barbel at Aberbechan .

You can park on church car park and opposite are the Baa sighns showing you where to get to the river let us know when you are going and we will be very pleased to meet up with you.
