Re: b.a.a. d’anglers match 2 of 5 @ Ladyham - Saturday 16th September

Hi Reg, really sorry but I won't be able to make to the Ladyham match. Things didn't pan out quite as I hoped at my hospital appointment and it looks like I'll need surgery. So obviously I won't be able to help with the weigh in either.

If you wish I can still draft out a spreadsheet to use on match day, I can attach it to a message and maybe you or somebody can print it out for the day. I'll get this done next week.

Hope you have a good day lads! I'll be back at some point soon.

Best Meatman/John.

And sorry Reg, forgot to say, if it's any help I'm happy to put together and print out a quick spreadsheet with competitor's names and space to fill in peg numbers and weights on the day. Think I might be able to source a clip board also. Let me know if this helps in any way.

Count me in Reg, I'd love to help with the weigh in again but may have to take it easy following an operation I've got booked for 10 days before.

I wonder if the high platforms are because of the boats? I've never fished there myself, but a mate of mine went there and decided to fish next to his platform instead of on it. He lost a landing net and a few other bits of kit due to the wash from a boat that went absolutely steaming through.

Whatever the challenge, I'm looking forward to it.

Re: d'anglers a.c.

That's brilliant BIN that you've got all the necessary kit.

I'm sure Reg will take up your offer.

Hoping I can make it to Ladyham, I've got a surgical procedure booked in for about 10 days before that. If the recovery goes to plan I should be fine.

Keep on fishing!

Re: d'anglers a.c.

That is sad news Keith, just as we were getting into our stride, you did a great job and put a lot of effort into getting everything under way.

Unfortunately work gets in the way of lots of stuff, I could/should have retired last year. But can't really afford to, so I'm still at it full time.

Well done to Reg for picking up the baton. Shout if you need any support, I'm sure there'll be help if you need it.

Keep on fishing!
