June 16th Avon Barbel and Chub Had a good start to the season fishing the River Avon on June 16th. First a lovely Barbel that was 5Ib 7oz. Then a chub that went all over the river and snagged me but eventually managed to net at exactly 5Ib. Then another lovely Barbel that went 5Ib 1oz. Lovely day and great pegs along the stretch. June 16th Avon Barbel and Chub
