Zander quest

I am a Zed virgin and have given myself a challenge to bag one before the seasons out.
I'm from Bidford, so right on the Avon, I keep plugging away (no pun intended) with some jigs and drop shot type lures.
Looking for tips and locations please. With my busy work and family life, I only get the odd hour here and there. I can't bank tramp it for hours / days / nights on end

I fish Stubbs, never catch, but still find it more rewarding than fishing the over fished Coppice. If you want to go and catch big commons, fish Coppice. I fish it once or twice a year to test rigs, damp my line. It is a lovely lake mind, don't get me wrong. I have heard the "nairdowells" on bikes never seen them. It's one of my favourite places to blank!
The BAA have some great river spots for Barbel and Chubb. Pm me for details, if you want more info. Glad to help.
Time for the pike now anyway

LOL, try cable ties, or you could have a dual head rest, one with rod rest, one with the selfie fish, and interchangable
