With the river still carrying a bit of extra water and only falling slowly, expectations were still high to catch a few fish. However, some anglers struggled for bites. Bream and skimmers made up the weights with the exception of one barbel.

1st Stewart Mulheron 25 - 7 - 0 ( 1 barbel of 9lb plus 5 bream to ground bait feeder )

2nd Craig Williams 18 - 8 - 0

3rd John Hale 10 - 8 - 0

4th Pete Jones 9 - 12 - 4

5th Lawrie Mulheron 6 - 10 - 0

Thanks for the match report Ollie.
Sounds as if the river looked in good nick but the fishing hard on a fair few pegs.
Tight lines....

Looks a good match, did the barbel come from anywhere near the shepherds hut , the broken down building ? Have many platforms/pegs been fixed ? The bream went a bit on our water on the Avon at Twyning. Colin Jew taking 157lb 8oz off peg 7 from the top.43 pegs above M5 Bridge at Bredon.. Shoaled up a tad as 7lb came 2nd.
