Had a lovely day on the Teme yesterday, took me just under three hours to get there but it was worth the journey, always is. I wanted to get my first Grayling of the season and ended up with 37 throw in a couple of chub, fat dace and crazy trout and it was perfect although the river was low. Only one Salmon Parr which was tiny, usually catch quite a few but wasn't plagued by minnows which was good. Beautiful surroundings and a wonderful place to wet a line

Re: Teme TrottingAnother grayling fan, nice to see ! (It’s all barbel & carp thes days ) if you had 37 grayling in August that is amazing ! I really like the teme because of the variety of species when trotting, you never quite know what you’ll catch ! Which stretch of the teme did you fish if you don’t mind sharing ? I usually fish the bransford bridge stretch which is my nearest really.
