Re: river fishing

Great Idea Chris,
But you may need to re address the 30 min estimation though. I patrol the Brook section and it usually takes well over an hour. The same can be said for Fladbury too.
Personally I would welcome any help that is offered, Especially for night patrols, safety in numbers and all that. Stu as well as some other bailiffs do arrange night patrols on a regular basis, so it might be worth joining one of these to see if it's for you.
Hopefully see you on the bank sometime soon.

Re: Hallow

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply, we popped over on Sunday but the banks are quite steep and not really suited to over night stays.

Hallow

Hi Guys,
Looking to do a couple of nights on Hallow, can anyone tell me if the parking is secure, and if the pegs are suited to overnight stays (bivvy).
Also I should ask if Barbel are there in numbers or do i need to prepare myself for the bream.
Any info will be of help.
Cheers

Re: Advice for Coppice first timer

Car park side or far side are best for overnight sessions, nice large pegs for bivvy's and an easy chuck to the island.
TBH Most baits work well but we use 10mm fruit boilies, also we caught loads on corn early season too, so don't discount it..
We have had the most success with short hooklink's and method feeders, yeah you get a few bream, but plenty of the carp show too. Also it keeps you busy.
Tight lines..... Dave

Re: otter seen on the Severn

We often see/hear them whilst night fishing around Eardington / Brook Section. Also see them on the Avon at Fladbury and Marcliff.
