Re: Harris's pegMany of us locals paid a visit to that peg. Just to contemplate fishing it. Guess who Robin Harris asked for advice ,Billy Lane showed what type of floats would use on the middle Severn . I still fish that way. Think nothing of using 5 swan shot down the line .

Re: Rivers post floodingMickgrove I do agree with you The Teme is a former shadow since 2007. The floods will alter all the gravel runs . I know that my favourite swim at Arley turned into a mud patch and wading was out ( I trot a float 99.9% of the time. The dace had all but disappeared so I am only presuming this time it will be a lot worse. Fishing may be turned into a lottery. Very sad.

Rivers post floodingHi How does anyone feel about the state of our rivers. Will this flooding deteriorate the quality of fishing? Last season it was fishing very hard. Any thoughts. I mainly fish the Severn from Abermule down Bewdley.

Re: Whats your favourite?Arley Left bank above what was the Island, wade out and trot down the middle . Always first day of the season , Had chub to 5lbs, and marble to 8lb , all on the float. No ledgering for me. If you can get wasp grub and know how to make the ground bait , had mega bags of chub . Happy days
