try the upper severn at Forden near Welshpool, you can catch everything in the Severn here( not sure about Zander,TF) its a bit over grown, wading is called for but worth it ,had some quality Grayling here on fly and maggots. some decent Chub too.

I agree , I would not quibble at raising the cost of membership, have held a BAA card for over 50 years its the best bargain around, I belong to two other clubs which cost me around another £180 . a year . Just come back from a weekend at Arley noticed the usual summer fishermen on Saturday.Sunday morning from the opposite bank I could see they had left their litter , coke bottles and carrier bags ( I was on the right bank). It gets to me. I do wonder do they have a BAA card. I love my fishing why do these folk ruin it .
