Re: Stacklands Float Fishingthe time i went i float fished the top end. you have to get in the water, waders are a necessity. i fished light tackle and had 27 small chub in about 2-3 feet of water but nothing bigger than about 5-6 ounces - in 2 hours trotting. enjoyable nonethless . there is deeper water off the far bank if you want to wade further out to seek larger fish but there is also a lot of weed.

Re: Fish Care (Stacklands)streuth i would not dream of putting a barbel in a keepnet any more i would a grayling, pike, perch or trout. i hardly ever use a keepnet. i usually unhook and put back asap. then again i am a "pleasure fisherman" and don`t go in for "match" fishing.

Re: Rubbish left on bankthere is no excuse for it. i also fish hereford club waters and it is much the same + picknickers/dog walkers/youths think its just fine to leave whatever type of s*** they want all over the banks, and in the water. one of last summers problems on the lugg was discarded/punctured lilos .
