AberchanI am celebrating my 60th with family this weekend staying in welshpool. My son and i are hoping to sneak off for a few hours in the mornings and fish at aberchan. Any advice for catching a barbel or two would be most welcome. I am not too steady on my feet these days so can anyone tell me what the banks and access ability is like.

Re: Cleeve Priori had trouble with these people on a visit to marlcliff. i had equipment stolen and was then almost pushed in to the boat lock when leaving. called police as they were jumping in the lock and ramming the lock with a quadbike. police promised to visit but nothing happened for obvious reasons that these people are above the law. i wont be going again but its no lose as this stretch has been ruined by all the trees being cut down leaving the bank bare and barbel no longer holding up.
