Leigh/OxbowSays on Fisheries Plan "no longer maintained" - does this mean that the water has been surrendered? Still says no access to vehicles on what was the access route.

BransfordThink we can safely say it needs a haircut! Not many fishable swims at the moment, and it's so low that the beach is pretty much across the river. There were two blokes there yesterday valiantly trying to smash through the Himalayan balsam to get to the water. Managed to find a couple of holes in the shallows at the top end to try bouncing a piece of meat along the bottom, but it's not very accessible at the moment. Looks like two pegs down the bottom end in the deeper water as well, but they were both in use.

Re: Looking for bigger river roach...Ribbesford, Newhalls Meadow and Ladyham all have good roach sport. Prefer the Avon still for roach personally, Bidford, Marlcliff, Salford Priors all go well on hemp and tares.

Re: MytheNot been recently, but used to find a load of bream three or four pegs down from the footbridge on the river side, float and caster over whatever I'd got as loose feed. Always found the shoal of bream round there. Had some tinca fun in the reedy weedy bit but nothing substantial.
