Hi I am recently retired and have returned to river and other fishing after a gap of 38 years. I would welcome joining a club so I can learn about where best to fish and baits and techniques to use. I would prefer to fish on week days if possible (Monday and Friday for early starts) Tuesday or Wednesday for later starts. Does such a club exist and can you help me?

Re: Are there any clubs I can join to fish BAA waters?Steve, a bit late replying with my two-pennyworth but if you are a BAA member the world's your oyster for choice of water as you know. I joined a couple of local clubs, Wixford and Studley, [£12/£15 or so membership, pensioners rate, cheap as chips] both have stretches of the Arrow if that's near you, with good fish in there as well, but I still found myself doing BAA water nearly all the time so haven't renewed this year, even though the Arrow is on my doorstep.

Re: Are there any clubs I can join to fish BAA waters? My previous post didn't really answer your question. I think what you were asking is 'are there any clubs affiliated to the BAA'...None as far as I know. Cheers.
